LS1 RODEO “MASHED” AT BURNOUT KING
LS COMMODORE “PIG SS” AT BURNOUT KING
Once we had heard that Matt had the RX7 drivetrain back together and ready for the Private Track Hire we knew that it was a 7 second ET in the crosshairs….
As shown in the full feature video we did previously, what an awesome bit of kit this car is. The simple cut back look of this car coupled with those weld wheels, the stunning Black Cherry Mica paint and that ride height give this car a stance like no other we’ve seen. You have to check this car out in person if you get the opportunity!!
There were no parts carnage this time out, so jump in and check out the days action and watch Matt finally get that magic PB he has been chasing!

It finally happened!! We have our first 6 second radial car in Western Australia, now held by none other than Ed Tassone of Active Automotive Performance Centre.
With several of the big hitters pushing hard to claim the title, it was the Billet Noonan powered GTO that managed to wrap off an absolute monster pass to light the board up with that magic number.
As featured in a previous video, the car is owned and driven by Ed Tassone who has previously led the race to the 6’s in running as quick as a 7.02 second pass some time ago. The private track hire organised by Jeff Johnson was always going to provide the surface needed to get the job done, the weather was perfect and the only variable were the cars and drivers.
It took a few passes to settle the car in but once that happened this was inevitable.
A huge congratulations to Ed, Tony and all the team for the achievement!
We look forward to seeing that ET record being smashed even more as the cars get quicker and quicker.
