Queensland-based Toyota 86 young gun Jarrod Hughes will join the Erebus Academy for 2024 driving for Image Racing, while 2023 Super3 Champion Jobe Stewart will graduate to Super2 for Erebus Motorsport
Graduating from Toyota 86’s, Jobe Stewart commenced his debut Super3 season with a first overall at the Newcastle season opener and set the standard for the remainder of the year.
Commencing his second Super2 campaign with an overall podium in Newcastle, Jay Hanson entered the 2023 season with higher expectations and more confidence incited by last year’s experience. While the year had plenty of ups and downs for the 20-year-old, Jay managed to finish sixth overall in the Super2 Championship, four positions higher than his debut in 2022.
