Well we are a little lost for words after Skidfest 12! Over 100 competitors, 10 hours of limiter bashing, tyre popping, rod throwing action on the Wanneroo Raceway burnout pad and so many smiles! Check out our recap video of the event on our YouTube page
Michael Quinn ends in flames at both ends of his PSI Supercharged VF Commodore “RECKLESS” at Skidfest.
Reece Regan is lucky there’s no walls at Skidfest as he used every square inch of the pad and did some lawnmowing to in his Blown Injected HR Ute “ADHD”.
Sporting a new Injector Hat and a heavy right foot both skids were high speed and certainly impressive.
The second expression session skid ending suddenly when the Catch Can filled and made a mess in the engine bay.
Darran Williams takes the Pro Class Win at Skidfest in his Naturally Aspirated Small Block Falcon Ute “DIESEL”. Proving you don’t need a Supercharger with an awesome display of Big Revs and Wheelwork..
After the recent Burnout Test Video (link below) Colin Byrne took to the Skidfest Burnout Pad for his first competitive Burnout in his Blown Injected Big Block 200 Series Landcruiser “KING CRUZA”. Safe to say he hasn’t lost the touch behind the wheel with a couple of solid tip-ins, but the first Burnout resulted in a tyre fire and dropping a wheel off the pad, and the second attempt ended up seeing an Oil Line let go resulting in a Huge Engine Bay Fire..

Paul Settatree has one of the most Spectacular Rods Out I’ve seen in a while.. After beating up on the car during the Comp this was a Expression Session Skid with the limiter turned up to 7,500rpm on this Blown Injected 383 LS HG Sedan “HWY2HELL”.
The weather wasn’t on our side for this one, but there was still an awesome time to be had at Benzenes Detailing for Australias Biggest Morning Tea!
In between the rain we managed to grab some videos of the cars and the great turnout of people who came down to support the event.
With the weather only just holding out it was definitely somewhat of a rush through the carpark to showcase the cars who did brave the weather, we would have loved to have been able to spend alot more time really getting up close and personal with the cars but keeping our equipment dry had to take priority so we did the best we could with what we had to work with!
A massive thanks again to Johnny and Angela, and to Nick and Todd for having us down for the morning – we can’t wait for the next one!
