Day Four and after a major setback on the previous day which ruled the Lotus out of contention for taking out the event, the boys brought the car out to finish the event off on a positive and have some fun!
Another awesome sunny day, this time the Lotus headed to the Industrial Estate in Malaga to tear the streets up and then finished the event in one of the best stages we think is on offer for the whole of the event – the Riverside Paradise of the Perth CBD, with the City Skyline on one side and the Swan River on the other!
Unfortunately we weren’t able to grab any of the incar footage of the city stages but we hope you guys enjoy the event wrap up and highlights!
These have taken some time so I do apologise for such a long delay between these videos, but they are worth it 🙂

About a month or so ago down at our second home (Perth Motorplex), we ventured down to film a very different type of Motorsport to what we regularly cover – The 2021 D1WA King of the Plex.
Our good mate (and Professional Drifter) Mitch in the lead up to the event hammered down and put in some serious hours getting his R32 4 Door Skyline freshened up and ready for the event, the car was competitive right the way into the finals where he ran into a couple of drivetrain gremlins – with the rear end giving in right at the final round for the day.
It was an awesome event even though the temperature felt like sub zero, we couldn’t complain as the sun was out and there was some serious driving talent giving the tight and technical layout of a circuit a belting.
We had the opportunity to jump onboard which was pretty unreal, having never been in a drift car before let alone one with a Pro Driver being Mitch at the wheel – it was a pretty epic ride!!
Mitch is already back into building his R34 comp car, so we’ll be sure to be there when that one hits the track again and see if we can sneak another ride along.
