The drag strip is officially open at Motorvation 36 with the first runs on the 1/8th mile setup underway. So far we’ve seen everything from a bread truck through to an Audi on track getting some time slips.

The Summernats staple SKID ROW has arrived in Perth for Motorvation for the first time ever and it didn’t take long for the queue to form up and rubber to take over the staging lane.

After 4 months if it being stuck in Victoria I finally got our newest present over and able to drive. For those that don’t know we got a bargain at the Lloyds auctions on a Renault Megane RS250 which my lovely wife deemed to be my 40th present from the family .

West Coast Nats took over the Perth Motorplex in September 2021 for 2 days of Tyre frying action. With 160 cars and countless tyres destroyed it’s never easy condensing so much footage into a short Highlights video, so I went the other way and put together a 35 minute highlights package.

Marty Dack becomes the third different Summer Slam round winner in as many events last weekend, taking out the A final against defending series champion John Zappia at Nitro SLAM.

Robert Wickens made his emotional return to professional racing last Friday in the four-hour BMW M Endurance Challenge at Daytona International Speedway, scoring a podium third-place finish.

With the proud support of Red Bull, Harvey Norman, Omen and Hoosier, who are the control tyre for the ARC, van Gisbergen will be hoping to challenge the likes of Toyota Gazoo Racing Australia’s Harry and Lewis Bates for top honours at the event.

Quick flash back to the mid 90s and this guy is standing in the hot sun of the Burswood Casino waiting for the Bandag Bullet to fire up and put on a burnout show like no other. Soon enough, the engine roars into life and a loud “WHOMP. WHOMP. WHOMP. WHOMP.” can be heard and felt through my body.
