ANGRYQ SMASHING TYRES AT SKIDFEST 15

This isn’t your average VT Commodore, and it definitely isn’t LS1 powered either!

With the monster PSI – D series blower and hat sitting higher than the roof line of the car (which I might add is a attached to a full vacuum moulded carbon fibre shell), and that massive blower is bolted to a BAE 521 cube TSP Noonan Headed Hemi, it’s a serious peice of kit!

This is another awesome addition to our field of Blown Cars here in Perth, Western Australia…. Check out a few of the shake down passes in the Slammer from the October Test and Tune, and keep an eye out for this one in our Blown Car Championship Round videos!

FOGGIN RIPPING IT UP AT SKIDFEST 15

Any trainspotters on the Channel probably recognize this pretty unique ute from a couple of years back… (Locals in the radial scene don’t count 😂)! We were set to tee up a pretty epic video of the ute and spent a fair amount of time putting together a trailer video that you can still find on our Instagram and Facebook to hype all the viewers up… Unfortunately the weather had other ideas and we never did get to see it break into the 7’s… or see it wheels up, which it’s renowned for!

The car sat in hibernation for a good while and then out of nowhere found its way back to the track for this event! So yes, we finally were able to get some decent videos of it making a pass… but the Ute had other ideas in the way of those being nice clean A-B jobs… Nevertheless it was just as impressive watching Jesse pedal this monster down the track, we certainly know what it’s capable of doing and we are confident that it wont be too far off next time we see it back at the track!

If you haven’t seen it, or heard it before… Tell us we are wrong in saying this is the most unique sounding Barra that would have to be in existence.

We’re trying to track Errol down to get the nitty gritty on the car but from what we understand it’s a mechanically injected destroked Barra and it sounds absolutely mental!

We grabbed a few clips of the car from the October Test and Tune, unfortunately at the Golden States round on the Friday Night (just a few weeks ago) the car got out of shape up the top end of the track and it all went downhill from there and the car ended up on it’s roof which is almost a replay of a similar crash in 2017 at almost exactly the same spot on the track! Errol walked away without a scratch and hopefully the damage to the car is fixable as we would love to see it back again – It’s definitely one of our favourites!

Lauren Young borrows Dayne Bairstow’s Barra powered XG Ute for Skidfest 15 and takes the 6 Cylinder Win.

Only a couple of weeks back we saw Goran put the LH well and truly on the bumper in his maiden outing in the Outlaw Radial class!

An absolutely wild car that sounds as tough as they get.. Previous to that he brought the car down to the test and tune – key word being ‘test’, so no crazy wheelstand action in this one but a couple of nice clean passes and a couple of zingers!

Enjoy the Torry belting into the 9 zone and make sure to turn that volume up!

Darren Clinton recently lost his nephew Conor Brown who sadly passed at 18 years old after battling an extremely rare disease his whole life. As a former Telethon Kid, Conor loved his cars, Star Wars and the West Coast Eagles.

Darren recently changed the name of his Burnout Car to “DARTH VADER” in memory of Conor. Unfortunately, the Blown VL pushed a Rocker Cover gasket out causing an engine bay fire.

RIP Conor and our sincere condolences to his family & friends.
