Dwane Pallentine’s weekend didn’t start on the best terms with a Heavy wall hit during a Test skid on Friday in his BNR Engines Blown Injected SBC Torana “PEPER IT”.
After some repairs he was able to return for the Masters Qualifying session where he secured a spot in the original Top 10 cars, he then went on to place 4th overall in one of toughest fields in recent history.
Steve Edsall puts his BNR Engines Small Block Ford powered XC Ute “SKD UTE” through a solid workout at Summernats 35. After securing a Master Ticket at Gazzanats Darwin, Chris Orchard made it through to the Burnout Masters Final 10 (from a field of 39 cars) in his VH Commodore “THE GAME”.
A small wall tap in the Final ruled out any chance of a place but to see & hear the BNR Engines Nascar powered VH Commodore scream at more than 9,000rpm is worth the price of entry alone.
Running a Blown Injected Warspeed built LS Engine, the Hilux known as “LUXIFER” smokes out the Summernats 35 burnout pad with 2 awesome Burnouts.
Steven Loader made the Burnout Masters final after qualifying from a field of 39 cars in his Blown Injected BBC HT Sedan “USMOKE”.
After an awesome qualifying skid his Finals attempt was stopped by a tyre fire. Only solution was to reverse to the start line and finish the tyres off.
