Thomas Baz has built himself what can only be described as Australia’s Wildest Range Rover, and YES, it’s Built to Smash Tyres.
Running a Blown Injected 4.8L Cast LS, Turbo 400 and 9 Inch it will certainly make an impression at its debut next week at Summernats, and in front of a huge crowd will be smashing a set of tyres in the Wild Card shootout on Thursday afternoon with 30 other weapons.
Thanks to Thomas for sending the footage through of his test skid. With a few teething problems identified, mainly the rear brakes not releasing he now has a week to sort a few issues out before the Range Rover Sport takes to the big stage in 6 days times.

Glen Tincombe makes up two spots in the final round of 2023 at CARCO.com.au Raceway for the Saloon Car category.
Featuring classic Holden vs Ford racing, you can see during this on board view Glen switching into “smooth operator’ mode as he passes two cars in one lap, without even breaking a sweat by the looks of it!
In just over 2 weeks the Street Machine Summernats Burnout Pad will be the place to be with another Insane line-up of Burnout Masters qualifiers assembled.
With 30 cars already qualified for the Masters, plus the winners from the Thursday Wildcard qualifier we’ll have nearly around 35 of the nastiest cars in the country vying for 1 of 10 spots into the Burnout Masters Final.
Burnout Masters Qualifying has been moved to Friday with the Finals now on Saturday afternoon in front of the expected huge crowd.
The Burnout Championship qualifying, and finals remain unchanged.
