Ben Peters breaks into the 7’s in his Twin Turbo 383 Cube LS1 VK Commodore “BLWNBDGT” with a 7.98 @ 174mph. With only 22psi running through a stock block and heads this weapon has plenty left in it. The car ran a 7.78 @ 176mph later in the day.
Sam Treasure runs a seriously quick 6.11 @ 218mph in his 526 Cube Supercharged Dragster “HEMI EXPRESS”. Unfortunately on the 2nd pass the engine pushes a head gasket out at the top end of the track but still manages a 6.34 ET.
On this episode we got parts shopping in a car i could never afford and journey up to Winton Raceway to check out the final round of the Excel Vic Series.
