We knew it was only a matter of time before we saw the Torana into the zone that everybody had hoped for, after making a couple of tweaks since Powerpalooza which was holding the car back in the last half of the track – the boys had the Torana dialled for the Season Opener and definitely produced the results in return!

Can only see this car going faster and faster, and to get it into that 6 second zone so quickly after a complete transformation of what the car was is a true testament to the hard work, professionalism and team collaboration over at the McClure Motorsport Stable!

It feels like forever but we are finally at that time of year again!

Just a small field in OLR for this round, with 4 of our favourite cars back down at the track to blow those off season cobwebs out and put on a show!

From Tim in the WILD wheelstanding 12A Turbo Rotary Datsun Ute, Ben in his SOHC powered rocketship Mustang, Kevins heavy hitting big block powered Trans AM and ofcourse Connors Twin Turbo ultra tough Tonner.

Some awesome side by side passes and a few tyre zingers, but all in all a great day with Kevin taking out the round win.
