The Nitro Cars were just about all in for this round with a massive turnout of the old favourites plus a couple of awesome new ones!

With Kyle Putland debuting his newest Top Fuel based rocket ship – “Under Pressure”, which looked absolutely insane… Anthony Begley piloting the wild “Chuckys Toy”, Brodie Pilkington in the “Dark Knight” , Brooksy in the Front Engine Dragster “Nitro Mayhem”, Matt Abel keeping everyone in check in “Nitro Thunder”, Andrew Katavatis in the immaculately presented Beach Bomb and the crazy Nitro fuelled Dragster “Rooman” – driven by Trevor Morrison!

It was another wild night of racing, with blower issues sidelining Nitro Mayhem after a spectacular engine detonation mid pass tossing the blower belt and destroying the burst panel (along with just about everything else as we found out later on)!

You guys love watching these and we love filming them, the Nitro Slam round did not disappoint with some huge moments and tight racing it has made for a pretty epic video, it’s a long one but it’s worth the watch.

With a massive field of big tyred blown cars for this round, between Top Doorslammer and Supercharged Outlaws these guys really put on a pretty awesome show for the fans!

The highlight of the night was hands down the wall tap in the Kelvin’s Mustang followed by a pretty spectacular overtake under parachutes in the braking area somehow managing to steer the car like an absolute pro between the outside of Stu Moresby and the wall (in Stu’s lane) and pulling both cars up safely. I can’t say that we see that very often.

Make sure you check out the Blown Car videos on the channel from the other rounds this season, can never get enough blown action and they’re all as crazy as the next to watch!

Toyota v Torana, two serious competitors both packing some impressive firepower. Always great to watch these two cars whether it be side by side or having a crack at the big blown cars in the field, they always put on a show and turn it up to 11.

Both with extremely dedicated racing families behind them which run multiple cars across multiple different classes, these guys don’t miss many (if any) opportunity to bring their cars down and they don’t hold back when out on track either.
