Matthew Hughes pays tribute to his fallen mate David Shaw with this awesome skid at Burnout King. Running the license plates ” R U SHAW” for the final time not only did Matt place 3rd in the Pro Class with this Burnout but he surprised the Shaw family with a complete respray of his Blown Injected Mazda to match David’s Street Car.

After a successful debut at Motorvation Chris Orchard turns up the Heat at Burnout King with this awesome skid in his 358 cube Nascar powered VH Commodore “THE GAME”. Sitting at 9,000rpm there’s not many better sounding naturally aspirated combos in the Burnout Scene.
Reece Lougher recently lost one of his closest mates in a tragic accident. To commemorate the passing of Darcy Jones he dedicated this Burnout to his mate to say goodbye in his own special way. And with Darcy’s family in the house it was special night.
Steve Sines puts his immaculate Blown Injected “KINGER” through a solid thrashing at Burnout King and takes out 2nd Place with some impressive wheelwork and Huge Revs from the Screaming Small Block Chev.

Fast paced action picked up right where it left off on the Saturday, with one car down due to a massive wheel explosion in Begley’s Dark Knight it left us with remaining four cars to battle it out for the win.
Kyle Putland in “Under Pressure”, Michael Brooks in the Front Engine Dragster “Nitro Mayhem”, Matt Abel in “Nitro Thunder” and Andrew Katavatis the “Beach Bomb”.
Brooksy had an absolutely cracker lap resetting his own PB and also the record for a FED (we believe Nationally).
A few more timing blocks sacrificed to the Nitro gods and a pretty close call with the wall in the Beach Bomb almost a splitting image of the previous day with Nitro Thunder!

The action continued into Day Two where things really started to get down to business as each team battled their way to win that podium position and the championship points to go with it.
