One of the Highlights of any Summernats is the Wildcard Qualifying on the Thursday afternoon. 30 cars are given the opportunity to compete for 1 of the 3 remaining spots into the Pro Burnout Series Qualifying round.

And rest assured they don’t leave anything behind in this last-ditch effort to get into the Qualifying field.

After the smoke cleared the Top 3 below had secured their spot into the Pro Burnout Series:

All the way from New Zealand is Hayden Wilby’s Blown Injected VT Commodore “NUTOUT”.

After destroying the Gearbox on the first day of Summernats on Skid Row, the crew ended up replacing the Gearbox to make the Pro Burnout Series Qualifying round. Only to Hit the wall right in front of my camera.

Steven Baker smacked the wall at Summernats really hard during the Championship Final.

After assessing the damage and thinking that the car was going to be off the road for some time, his mates stepped in and with the donation of another Chassis (thanks to the Mantach family) they had the Ute repaired, resprayed and ready for a local WA Competition 2 days after arriving home from Canberra.
