Josh’s ute which is yet another car that if not for the giveaway cut out in the headlight would be one of the most unassuming cars driving around doing the shopping run, but the list of specs on this one tells a very different story.

This definitely isn’t the typical family Calais used to transport the clubs to the fairway, the small and definitely unnoticeable sized hole in the passenger headlight which definitely doesn’t give you clear view of what’s hiding behind should be reason enough to suspect that looks can be deceiving on this one.

Packing 1300HP of Boosted LS under the bonnet, you’ll be struggling to decide what colour the car is before it’s well and truly disappeared into the distance!

Unfortunately the boys added a little bit too much spice for what was sitting behind the powerplant and smoked the clutches in the Auto! Can’t wait to see this one back down there, the potentially times it should be putting down are probably going to be enough to get most peoples attention!

One of the cars we wanted to see hit our freshly prepped track was this one, and the proof is definitely in the pudding regarding was it worth all the effort and time in the lead up to this event.
Mumbo got right back to where it last left off blasting deep into the 7’s, with a few adjustments having to be made throughout the 2 days the car responded well with Kevin pedalling the car as it tried to take flight on a couple of spicy passes!

Kevin, who’s starred in just about every drag racing video on our channel has probably done more laps of the dragstrip than most people and has been campaigning Mumbo for a few seasons now, a hugely driven person who always aims to push the car each round to go faster and faster. With Mike in charge of the tune up, the car has continued to smash it’s own PB’s time and time again for both ET and MPH.

Check out Mumbo in action as it continues the pursuit of that ultimate PB; the 6 second slip, it was right there – again!

Always refreshing to see a new car hit the track, Tim brough the 1976 Oldsmobile Starfire based funnycar down to get some practice laps in ahead of the upcoming season.

The car looks AWESOME! And it doesn’t go too badly either considering, with Tim not holding back at all on the first pass giving us an absolute belter of a maiden hit!

Still chasing down some further details on the car from Tim but will get those in the description once they come through, purely based off what we’ve seen we can only assume this is a pretty serious combo hiding underneath that wicked looking shell!

Always (secretely) one of our favourite times of the week when we get to unleash this particular category of cars on the Channel and give the fans what they want!

A car you really can never get sick of seeing roll up to those beams, a quick purge of the nitrous and then it’s the waiting in anticipation for the revs to come up and Yvette to let off the button and basically just steer the car with the back wheels for over 100ft.

It’s tough, it’s consistent and it’s always a crowd pleaser and it even made it’s way into the No Prep Kings tour down under racing Lizzi Musi!
