The Pro Burnout Series is the Toughest Burnout Competition in the World. With Drivers around Australia and New Zealand having to qualify for a spot in the 40-car field from nearly 20 events over the last 12 months.

The 2024 series culminated with the Grand Final at the Street Machine Summernats 37, where competitors battled it out for a staggering $50,000 first-place prize—part of a total prize pool exceeding $70,000.

After the smoke had cleared Peter Grmusa took the Win and Prize Money with his Blown Big Block powered XA Falcon “KING XA” topping the score sheet:

Chris Orchard brings the revs to Summernats 37 in his Blown Small Block Chev powered VL “BALLISTIC”.

The first burnout was during the Wildcard qualifying which was good enough to secure a Top 3 position in a 30-car field and a place into the Pro Burnout Series Qualifying group.

The second burnout ended fairly quickly after Chris hit some oil on the pad and managed to keep the car off the wall and saving the car for another day.

Tristan Lee-Madgwick takes the Open Class Championship win at Summernats 37 with three awesome Burnouts in his Supercharged VF SS Ute “MISCHIEF”.

Running an 8/71 Blown Injected LQ9, the ute got punished all weekend on the way to his first win at the event, and secures a Wildcard in the Pro Burnout Series at Summernats 38.

Pete Grmusa takes the inaugural Pro Burnout Series win at Summernats 37 in his Insane Blown Big Block powered XA Falcon “KING XA”.

With two awesome displays of driver control and huge smoke he was clear winner and picks up a huge $50,000 Cheque.

This is one of those cars you need to experience live as the noise is deafening, worth the price of admission alone..
