What an insane weekend of racing this event was, with some of the highlights of the race weekend being the 12A Pineapple PB’ing on it’s new tyre combo (7.94@172) and Ben Pisconeri resetting the SOHC World ET Record which he reset earlier in the Season to a 7.4 and just a smidge off the mph record… Also awesome to see Mumbo back down to into the low 7’s, Ed and Lorenzo within throwing distance of that 6 second Range and also the cars new to the channel this round being the two Falcons and the ‘FUGLY’ UC Torana!

We hope you enjoy this one, it was the perfect end to an awesome race season and we can’t wait for the next one to start! It will be here in no time as it always is!

It feels like only yesterday since we were in the exact same spot at the exact same time of year for the 2020/21 Season Finals, this season has gone too quick and we have already reached the Final Championship Round of the 2021/22 Season.

Pretty much all of the radial regulars locked in for this one, the two Mustangs, the Pineapple Ute, Mumbo and we also had a couple of new players getting in before the winter break!

Given the finals this year was a Two Day event, and due to an unfortunate rain event later in the Friday evening we only managed to get the one qualifying run in for Radial on the Friday. Thankfully the weather cleared by Day Two so stick around for a huge video of racing to follow this short and sweet wrap of Q1!

Fast paced action picked up right where it left off on the Saturday, with one car down due to a massive wheel explosion in Begley’s Dark Knight it left us with remaining four cars to battle it out for the win.

Kyle Putland in “Under Pressure”, Michael Brooks in the Front Engine Dragster “Nitro Mayhem”, Matt Abel in “Nitro Thunder” and Andrew Katavatis the “Beach Bomb”.

Brooksy had an absolutely cracker lap resetting his own PB and also the record for a FED (we believe Nationally).

A few more timing blocks sacrificed to the Nitro gods and a pretty close call with the wall in the Beach Bomb almost a splitting image of the previous day with Nitro Thunder!
