Bryan Herta Autosport is back with an imposing stable of six Elantra N TCR cars and a Veloster N TCR entry managed by van der Steur Racing in 2022. The season begins with a four-hour endurance race on Jan. 28, 2022, ahead of the Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona race weekend.

With 23 races occuring this year as part of the F1 calendar, the pressure has been on the F1 bosses to reduce the amount of commitments the drivers have outside of the cockpit and now they’ve released a change to the media calendar which essentially returns 24 days to the drivers over the year.
The Global League runs from Jan. 24–Feb. 14 with qualifying rounds on the iRacing VR-simulation platform. Players from 13 countries will participate in the qualifying rounds, out of which 30 players including the top two players from each country will move on to the final rounds.
The six round series is scheduled for a return to track on February 18 and 19 at Sydney Motorsport Park with some racing to be run under lights.
