Another hot one down here at Perth Motorplex for the 2nd day of Motorvation 36 and no sooner had the green light been given for the super cruise than the smoke rose above the drag strip as car after car laid down their little patch of rubber for the morning.

After 12 hours avoiding the sun and it finally going into hiding, the sportsman skids finished on the main burnout pad at Motorvation 36 and the band fired up on the main stage with happy hour in effect.
The drag strip is officially open at Motorvation 36 with the first runs on the 1/8th mile setup underway. So far we’ve seen everything from a bread truck through to an Audi on track getting some time slips.
The Summernats staple SKID ROW has arrived in Perth for Motorvation for the first time ever and it didn’t take long for the queue to form up and rubber to take over the staging lane.
