Easily the biggest wheelstand I’ve filmed, Leon Withnell does some serious damage to his XD Ute after one huge Wheelstand at a Private test day. The Headers, Gearbox pan, Cross-member and Chassis all took a serious battering after putting the Ute almost on the back bumper.

With 430 Cubes in a Dart Block Windsor with CHI Kaase Cleveland heads the combo is seeing around 900hp and easy to see why it’s running mid-8’s.

Chris Orchard was so close to running a 7 second pass today in his Twin Turbo VZ Clubsport “EL CHOPO”. With a best pass of 8.08 at 171mph the 3,800 pound full bodied sedan was healing so serious speed.

After a huge wheelstand on the 2nd pass which still netted an 8.24 the team returned for another pass aiming for the 7’s. The car was on a mission until just pass the 1,000 foot mark where it nosed over and smashed a hole in the block.

Considering it’s running a standard GM LS3 Block, LSA crank, standard LS3 Heads and H Beam Rods it’s done surprisely well to handle nearly 30 pound of boost.

Tony Mazzitelli cracks into the 6 second bracket in his Twin Turbo Hemi powered VF Maloo.

At only the 2nd outing for the Ute the team gradually increased the power into the car throughout the day, with a best run of 6.80 at 216mph.

Running an ADR Engines supplied 511 cube BAE Noonan headed Hemi, 2 x 94mm Precision Turbos and a 16 Plazmaman Billet Injectors the combo punched out an incredible 2,715rwhp at 9,000rpm and 35psi boost all through a Turbo 400.

With todays runs starting at very modest boost levels, the man behind the tune Jeff Johnson stepped up the boost & timing after each pass to achieve this awesome result.

What’s scary is the combo still has plenty more in it.
