Lee Povey’s twin-turbo, Dart LS VL Calais “JKLHYD” takes home the top Haltech Horsepower Hero award, as well as first place in the 8CYL Forced Induction class at Summernats 37.
After making 2011hp in qualifying, the 427ci Warspeed-built combo backed it up with two runs over 2000hp, the biggest coming in at 2109hp to the hubs during the Sunday final.

Edin Dervisevic’s immaculate and tough as nails 632ci big-block HK Monaro broke the Haltech Horsepower Heroes aspirated V8 record by a considerable margin during qualifying with an awesome 1098rwhp.
During the Finals (this video) the HK backed it up with several dyno pulls just under the record-breaking number.
