Bairnsdale Speedway Association have held their latest race meeting with a healthy crowd enjoying a terrific mixture of classes with the highlight of the night being the Presidents Cup for Compact Speedcars being run and won by Australian champion Justin Paull whilst Beau Stuchbery won his fourth Division 2 Hot Rod final in succession at Bairnsdale Speedway. On January 17th on ‘Wyatt Automotive’ race night five winners bagged all important series points in their race classes with wins at Wahgunyah Speedway including David Donegan in the Extreme Sports Sedan Series, Keith Simmonds in the Lucky 7s Unlimited Sedan Series, Nathan Shortis in the Goulburn Ovens Sedan State Series and Zach Erickson and Jai Hallett in the Junior Sedan Promotional Association Series. Wahgunyah Speedway was the place to be on December 27th Willett Transport race night for the annual Christmas season Speedway event in the northeast of Victoria with the annual Queen of the Murray for Ladies Open Sedans and Noel McGrath Memorial for Production Sedans supported by other club classes in support.
