We said we would be there to see the boys take the Torry to the track for the first time, and we’ve delivered on that promise!

The Torana was out and after a couple of small adjustments was able to make some solid rail road straight flying passes with the car still turned down… The potential this car has is ridiculous, with over 2000hp to play with!

The boys are still ironing out a few bugs, and unfortunately the timing board didn’t want to play ball on the day but the Torry is already into the 7 second zone and it still has plenty left.

An unreal effort for the first time out with the car, we can’t wait to see it back on the track in this coming season!

You may notice on a couple of clips that we had to pull the incar audio or dub music in place, we had a couple of glitches with our main camera not recording any audio randomly (which we haven’t had happen ever before!!) We apologize for that, we’ll make sure we keep an eye on that going forward but we hope you still enjoy watching 🙂

It’s a small milestone for us, but we’ll take it!

Not only did we recently hit our first target of 1000 YouTube Subscribers, we also clocked up over 100 uploads on the channel.

These videos are some of the best racing and automotive action Western Australia has to offer, filmed, edited and compiled by the best in the west (or at least we feel :D)

We thought we may aswell celebrate given we’ve been lucky enough to have a little bit of downtime between filming and put together a wrap up of what we have been able to achieve since starting the channel a few years back. The progression in quality and content has been awesome and we continue to strive to push ourselves to continue improving in every are we can!

To everyone who has supported us on our journey we wanted to say a massive thankyou, without you we wouldn’t have gotten this far and we hope you will stick with us on the journey as we strive to go even bigger and better!

Thankyou to everyone who has been to our merch store and picked yourself up something, we hugely appreciate that you guys enjoy what we do and that you are proud to promote our brand! You guys are awesome and we hope we continue to exceed your expectation in what we do.

Below are just some of the teams, businesses and organisations we have supported and who have supported us on this journey, we can’t wait to make another 100 videos with you guys!

Day Four and after a major setback on the previous day which ruled the Lotus out of contention for taking out the event, the boys brought the car out to finish the event off on a positive and have some fun!

Another awesome sunny day, this time the Lotus headed to the Industrial Estate in Malaga to tear the streets up and then finished the event in one of the best stages we think is on offer for the whole of the event – the Riverside Paradise of the Perth CBD, with the City Skyline on one side and the Swan River on the other!

Unfortunately we weren’t able to grab any of the incar footage of the city stages but we hope you guys enjoy the event wrap up and highlights!

These have taken some time so I do apologise for such a long delay between these videos, but they are worth it 🙂

About a month or so ago down at our second home (Perth Motorplex), we ventured down to film a very different type of Motorsport to what we regularly cover – The 2021 D1WA King of the Plex.

Our good mate (and Professional Drifter) Mitch in the lead up to the event hammered down and put in some serious hours getting his R32 4 Door Skyline freshened up and ready for the event, the car was competitive right the way into the finals where he ran into a couple of drivetrain gremlins – with the rear end giving in right at the final round for the day.

It was an awesome event even though the temperature felt like sub zero, we couldn’t complain as the sun was out and there was some serious driving talent giving the tight and technical layout of a circuit a belting.

We had the opportunity to jump onboard which was pretty unreal, having never been in a drift car before let alone one with a Pro Driver being Mitch at the wheel – it was a pretty epic ride!!

Mitch is already back into building his R34 comp car, so we’ll be sure to be there when that one hits the track again and see if we can sneak another ride along.

One car we really wanted to do a full feature on last season but didn’t quite get to is this one, Connor’s Nardo Grey HZ One Tonner which regularly raced throughout the 2020/21 Outlaw Radial Season at the Perth Motorplex.

If you’ve been watching the channel for a while this ute is probably familiar to you as you would have seen it in action before, but what’s now under the hood is different to what you are used to seeing! The LSA Blower combo has been stepped up some – Now you will find a pair of Precision Journal Bearing Turbo’s in it’s place, courtesy of Lundy Race Fabrication. The rear end has also had a birthday with Black Magic literally working thier magic on a whole bunch of trick custom upgrades to make sure this car can get all that power down and some!

Power Management is taken care of by the Holley EFI Master – Jeff Johnson, going through the motions and slowly creeping up on the power each time after checking over the data.

We’ll make sure to jump in this at the first available opporutnity as soon as it hits the track, we suspect it’s going to be a little more spicy than the last time we watched it run laps.

In the meantime we hope you enjoy the sights and sounds of the Tonner on the WA Racing Developments Mainline Pro Hub Dyno as it slowly gets turned up!

Everytime we have seen this car come out it never fails to deliver in the excitement department, it’s an epic combo and those huge wheelstands make for awesome video and stills!

We would have been more than happy to leave with an awesome video of another massive wheelstand and a clean A-B Pass , instead things very quickly went south with the car getting out of the groove and rapidly coming back around – what happened next you will have to watch and see, but it’s never a great thing to see anyone come unstuck during the pass!

Can’t wait to see the car back again, Black Magic Racecars have been putting in the hours to get the car to become a little more controlled and get down quicker than ever – It definitely looks like it has more in it so we hope to be able to see just how much again very soon!

At the June race meet held at Wanneroo Raceway a couple of weeks ago, we grabbed as many spare cameras as we had and loaded Nick’s car up!

Nick at only 21, started out in karting at just 7 years of age! He transitioned over to cars at the age of 14 and already has racked up an impressive racing career comprising of 2 Years Excel 2015 State Champ, 2 Years Formula Ford and 4 years ago moved into racing the BMW in which he has already taken out the IPC Outright State Champion back in in 2019.

He is awesome to watch in his office, and he is looked up to by many other younger racers which he coaches and mentors.

For only 3.2L of Straight Six BMW Naturally Aspirated M Power up front, this car moves out!

The onboard Motec tuned by Mike (WA Racing Developments) handles the engine vitals and datalogging and gives Nick the information in real time he needs to get the most out of the car.

The genuine M3 is definitely is strong competition for the other bigger and more powerful cars out on the track, with Nick able to outbrake and outcorner his competitors on more than one occasion.

Turn the volume up and listen to this symphony of the BMW powerplant coupled with the unreal sounds of the Samsonas 6 Speed Dog Box!

Build Specs:

Car Year/Model – 1996 E36 M3
Engine – S54 3.2 Litre, All Stock
Fuel – E85
Gearbox/Driveline – 6 Speed Samsonas Dog box
Diff – Kaaz
ECU – Motec M130 PDM 15
