We grabbed these clips last a couple of seasons ago, and at the time had been releasing a whole bunch of radial car footage…. so we thought we would save this one for a rainy day, and just our luck – the weather matches that perfectly!

So here it is, both big bad blown oldschool door cars came out to play driven by Father and Daughter.

Father being Clive Hudson who is an absolute legend of the scene here in Perth, one of the few holding the title of consistently the biggest baddest warmup burnouts in which he would almost end up past the 1000ft mark and have to reverse all the way back again – but man was it cool to watch!!

After the passes we were able to be trackside for, Clive and his Kristie ended up lining up side by side (which we were lucky enough to see from the pit area on the big screen!) but we couldn’t get to the start line fast enough with the camera to be able to film it!

Hopefully we will get another opportunity again sometime soon!

You might have seen the recent dyno video on our channel we did on the Maloo where it pumped out a ridiculous amount of horsepower and in the scheme of things that was only really baselining the car, not even leaning on it overly hard for what that combination it truly capable of.

As most people would say, the real test is down the track and well…. I would say this passed any test you could throw at it with flying colours!

Without giving too much away, Tony did not muck around when it came to putting the car through it’s paces and launching the car straight to the pointy end of the fastest radial cars in Western Australia to date.

The only real giveaways by looking at this car that it’s not your ordinary Maloo (which aren’t slow off the showroom floor to begin with) are the 275 Pro Radials tucked under the rear, the coolers dry sump reservioir you can see if you look close enough through the front and the drag wing and twin chutes on the rear. Nothing overly over the top in the scheme of things. But this is no ordinary Maloo (as I’m sure you have already guessed), the 511ci Billet Aluminium motor which is straight from a Doorslammer and fed by two 94mm Precision Gen 1 Turbo’s with all the supporting gear you can poke a stick at make this one car that is built to go fast…. extremely fast!

The RPM Parts and Performance Team along with Audio Image, ADR Engines and KarKulture Motorsport definitely made the most of the couple of days track hire with both the Maloo and Ballistics Clubsport, and while we weren’t able to get down to Day Two in person – Our good mate Flinty was kind enough to help us out with the footage we weren’t able to get from Day Two….. Make sure you go out and check out his channel if you haven’t already, if you like your burnout content then it doesn’t get much more top of thier game than Flinty – he would have to be the best Burnout content creator on YouTube period, check out his channel below.

The guys are already prepping the car to head East and compete in the pro series Radial Events held in the next few months, we won’t be able to accompany them this time around but will be aiming to head over in the near future to follow the action with the teams repping W.A in the Radial Series!

The first car we ever filmed on our Channel, and just happens to be one of our close family friends in which our parents have known each other long before we were even born..

The Pisconeri’s are synonymous with ridiculously fast Fords, with Peter (Ben’s Dad) being one of the best Ford Performance Engine builders in the country (let alone any engine for that matter). With the drag racing roots running deep, it was almost a given that one day we would see Ben following in his Dads foot steps. And with the technology and componentry available in this day and age of racing, Ben was making serious headway with making ridiculous power with the Ford Intech motors (and this isn’t just recently, we are talking a good 12+ years ago), Ben has been playing with these factory motors and boost since he got his license!

Over the past few years we watched the Mustang debuted and Bens racing career progress, with a clear, consistent and calculated approach to everything he does the car has continued to perform more and more and in the last 6 months has only gone faster and faster. Earlier in the year Ben broke into the 7.50’s which landed him the Quickest SOHC Intech World Record, and since then Ben has reset that record at least two more times that we can recall (all of these are on our channel by the way!). We are extremely proud to have not one, but two of our businesses represented on the back of this absolute rocket of a car – one that would fit right in at any high end car show and which joins the likes of Lorenzo’s Foxbody and Tony’s Maloo in terms of absolutely elite level racecar presentation along with the utmost perfection when it comes to form and function.

If you’ve never seen or heard Ben’s mustang make a pass before then you are in for a treat, with a completely unique sound the car absolutely screams the whole way down the track. Ben is currently only 1.4mph off the Fastest World Record for an SOHC Intech and we have no doubt this will change next time we see the car down the track. For a stock block inline 6 this car absolutely hauls the freight, and puts some of the boosted V8’s on notice!

If anything, Ben is a pioneer when it comes to getting the most out of these motors… Through years of testing and enhancing and the experience gained I don’t think there is a more knowledgeable person walking this earth. With just about everything on the car carried out by Ben and his Dad (including the tuning) and the reliability they’ve managed to sustain with the combo is truly impressive.

Chris is no stranger to high powered Commodores with his collection looking pretty healthy as of late!

He also isn’t afraid to use them either, the Ballistic Motorsport Clubsport being no exception – and it didn’t take long to dial the Twin Turbo powered 376 cube LS HSV up to the point it was wanting to take off with a few wheels up passes!

Brian brought his ultra angry UC Torana down to the track to shake the car down after it’s bout of upgrades… (And which in our opinion, actually doesn’t look that ugly at all!)

With the F-1A Procharger bolted on to the 406 cube SBC it has one hell of an idle, the whine of the Procharger and the whoosh of the BOV really make it a pretty unique sounding little combo!

Another bad to the bone car you’ve probably seen on the channel before, the 1970 Hemi powered Blown Chevelle Doorslammer is one of the best looking Slammers we have in W.A (In our opinion)!

With a pretty successful race season behind him, Frank brought the Slammer down to get a bit of off season track time while the opportunity presented itself.

Hopefully the video gives you a pretty good idea of the level of this car, the paint is absolutely phenomenal and has a subtle pearl accent. Not only does the car deserve every bit of it’s place in Street Machine Mag, there’s nothing tougher than the sound of a Solid Roller Big Block Chrysler rumbling away.

The car definitely isn’t all show, even though it would have no issue competing in any elite pavillion bay at any level of car show… This is a true street car!

Not only that, but Aaron took the VG all the way to the Eastern States to compete in Drag Challenge taking out runner-up in the Tuff Mounts 235 Aspirated class and also claiming the quickest Mopar-powered car.

With the car back in our home town, the opportunity to get some more track time presented itself.

It’s never as easy as it seems getting a high powered radial car down the track, it was definitely a challenging day for Aaron and through no lack of trying on this occasion either. Getting the car ready for Drag Challenge in October this year it was a good opportunity to dial a few things in and work out what changes or upgrades were needed to step it up come October.

With Aaron making adjustments during the day and testing each the car wasn’t going to let him have it easy this time around, he’s already got his shopping list together and the suspension is likely to get a few tweaks in the lead up to October.

The Gregorini’s are no stranger to Drag Racing, nor our channel… With Daniel’s Camaro appearing on our channel in just about every blown car video in the last season!

We didn’t want to leave the most important Gregorini out! Scratch and Match Motorsport have been working hard in the background to get Lisa’s new Door Slammer all prepped up and ready to compete, this includes training a complete new all Female pit crew (which is absolutely awesome in itself) and also getting Lisa comfortable and licensed in the car.

With all the support and motivation from Husband Daniel and the Scratch and Match team, Lisa is getting more and more confident in the car – something she has never driven before in her life let alone anything remotely close… So this is all a brand new experience and learning for Lisa.

Lisa’s car runs an onboard mounted starter motor which had a small issue before the first pass but aside from that the 60ft test hits are progressing nicely and the team are being dilligent in not rushing Lisa or the car until they are happy with each incremental acheivement.

It has been awesome to watch the development of the team and watching Lisa start her licensing passes, I’m sure it will be next to no time before we see both of the Gregorini Camaro Door Slammers lined up side by side at a Championship Round! Now that will be a video to hang out for!!

Rob from Monsta Torque brought a couple of the crazy Horsepower FG Barra FPV’s down to the track to try and get some of the power down to the ground, it was definitely no easy feat!

We’ve since chatted with Rob and will hopefully be able to get a couple of these weapons on camera when they’re on the dyno!
