Fred Watson has a day to forgot at Summernats 33 after going into the Wall during Wildcard Qualifying in his Blown Monaro “FEAR”.

After the recent dyno videos, Reece made the trip to Summernats with his Blown Injected Commodore “ADHD VK”. With a snapped Gearbox Input shaft preventing him from a qualifying Burnout it was up the crew to source and replace the shaft to at least get 1 Burnout done. The team managed this in time for Sunday and Reece was allowed to perform a demonstration Burnout after the completion of the Burnout Finals. As luck would have it Reece gave the wall a touch-up after getting smoked out.

Jono Kelly turns up the Revs at Summernats 33 in his VK Commodore with the Nascar Engine sitting above 9,000rpm on his way to the runner-up spot in the Burnout Championship. Turn the volume up for this one..

Before the start of the Burnout Masters Qualifying, Summernats were kind enough to have Nik’s family and closest friends on the start line to pay tribute and celebrate the life of the late Nikolas Rigby. Nikolas was loved by all in the burnout scene, and having qualified for this years Burnout Masters is was fitting that Summernats did not replace his spot, as no one can replace Nik.

If you’re having difficulty in coping with things, please speak up and don’t be afraid to ask for help. Remember…. It Ain’t weak to Speak.

Cleetus McFarland shipped his 632 Cube Big Block Chev Camaro “TOAST” to Summernats 33 to compete in the Burnout Competition. His Tip-in was definately a worthy contender but a wall hit and tyre fire shortly after would have put him out of judging contention, and to make matters worse the 632 Cube Chev decides to let go leaving a dent in the sump.. Stay tuned for further videos as the Cleetus Crew purchased another engine and fitted it the following day, with Cleetus returning to the Burnout Pad for 2 further burnouts over the weekend.
