We headed down for Round Two of Red vs Blue 1/8th Mile Radial Racing, check out some of the cars that put their hands up to battle it out at the Perth Motorplex!
From the tough as nails blown Charger, to Ford v Holden rivalry, old school cool American Muscle, the big hitting wheelstanding 2J powered LJ Torana plus many more!

Daniel Bardot (the man behind Custom Home & Car Tinting) recently took ownership of this VL Commodore Burnout Car (formerly Cutsikrik) after winning the car in a Raffle on Facebook. After a respray, new wheels and some other Mods he now gets to give it a Hiding like an LS Commodore deserves.
Aaron James has reincarnated Thrasha AGAIN… It started life as a Ute which was famously wiped out on the Wall at the Motorplex, Aaron then build a Sedan and campaigned that for a couple of events. The car was then sold off, and a Wagon was pieced together for some Skid. Again the car was sold and gone full circle back to a Ute.. Farnsy would be impressed..
WA Outlaw Radial Cars at Round 2 of the 2020 WA Drag Racing Championship Series and featuring Ben Peters Natrually Aspirated 9 Second VL Commodore Sedan!
The Perth sun was out again but the strong winds were in super early and the wind chill made conditions a bit of a challenge both for spectating and racing, we had a great turn out of the usual suspects along with a few new cars to add to the mix which is awesome to see!
There was another run of great side by side races, along with a few teething issues and gremlins for a couple of the big hitter cars – unfortunately Ben’s car also suffered a loss of power later in the day and resulted in the car being packed away in the early evening to minimise any further damage.
The 2020 Drag Racing Championship Season and Outlaw Radial Class is slowly growing in numbers and continues to put a show on for all of the fans!!

I never thought I’d see a Limousine Burnout and for a 6 Cylinder this went a lot better than I was expecting for such a big car.. But ended with what looked like a Gearbox Fire.
