All hail the mullet! Business in front, party at the back! A staple of Australian car culture the mullet has a bit of a bad reuptation being associated with bad behaviour and loutish behaviour. However the crew at Mullet Industries is trying to change the view on this. On day

So how does one break the Sunday blues at Motorvation 35? Knowing that it is all over in a matter of hours after 2 days (so far) of beautiful cars, burnouts, and all manner of driving events? Bump into the wonderful Bridget Bell and wander around the Formula Tech Elite

Sunday at Motorvation 35 meant it was time for the finals of the burnout competition and the competitors sure didn’t disappoint. Some wild burnouts, some that were over far too soon and some that should have stayed at home. Here’s a selection of the most “

Karl Staines-Walsh was on a mission during the Motorvation 35 Burnout Finals, his Blown LS Commodore Ute “U2BH8TEN” was on Kill and Karl was using every square inch of the Burnout Pad until he got lost in the smoke and hit the Wall at speed with an awful lot of force. The damage to the Ute looks quite extensive.

When you’re pushing 30+ pounds of Boost and sitting above 9,000rpm things are eventually going to break. Speaking with Matt after the event he shed some light on the circumstances behind the Small Block Chev calling it quits.

At a recent event here in WA Matt shut the car down mid-burnout due to an Oil Line Failure. A check of the remote filter after the show highlighted nothing to be concerned about and the car was prepped for Motorvation.

With the car performing perfectly on Saturday Night (in my opinion one of the Skids of the Night) the car was on a mission for Sunday’s final.

Unfortunately something has let go in spectacular fashion with a Huge Explosion and engine bits left to pick up more than likely as a result of the oil line issue before hand.

Rest assured Matt will be back very soon.

After melting the Internet last week when photos were released, to wowing the crowds at Motorvation 35, it’s safe to say Colin Byrne’s insane 200 Series Landcruiser is a Head Turner.

And there is no better example of this than winning People’s Choice at a show with over 500 cars. Not only did he win this coveted award but also took home Top Engineered and Top Competition and a Top 5 place in the Grand Champion Award.

More importantly, Colin also managed some limited seat time with a drive in the Go to Whoa, Slalom and even a Burnout leaving the Grand Champion presentation.
