With a string of podium finishes under his belt and a super reliable Supercharged Small Block it was unusual to see “PAGEY” not drive off the pad at Burnout King. Unfortunately it looks like he’s sustained some engine damage and was only metres short of crossing the line and completing a text book Burnout.

Fantastic demonstration today of the S5000 going around Mount Panorama. The data collecting laps were not meant to show the speed these cars will be able to do around the track but to provide valuable setup information to the category to ensure the best performance can be obtained come November

With over 140 entrants across the day, the Good Friday Burnout King was always going to be hotly contested and for Dwayne Pallentine in his 1974 Torana “PEPERIT” he managed to beat the competition with a 12 point margin back to Joel Snell in his 2009 Commodore “

At last nights Burnout King at the Perth Motorplex we saw 37 cars auction off their passenger seat to help raise money for the victims of the recent Bushfires. The Auctions raised over $17,000.

Just want to say a MASSIVE thankyou to all the Entrants that donated their Passenger seat to help raise some money, the passengers I hope you enjoyed the Ride. And a special thankyou to the Perth Motorplex for supporting the venture and offering free entry to the Auction Winners and Cajed Racewear for donating the use of their Fire Suits.
