It is finally Perth’s time to enjoy the FIA Girls on Track event with recent events in Tasmania and South Australia being held successfully. We were lucky enough to be invited along to the Sydney event back in May 2021 and will be also at the Perth event

Western Australia’s circuit racing season is heading towards the night finale in November and had two days of track action at Wanneroo Raceway on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th October. The first day saw the running of the 2nd Rob Janney Memorial Time Challenge event with cars running in

Justin Pitsikas punches rods on his Blown Commodore “STIFFY” at Burnout Boss. Running a virtually stock LS with around 16 pound of boost it’s taken 2 years abuse to get to get this result. He completed the whole skid and drove off the pad before a huge fire ball engulfed the Engine Bay.

Connor Begley brought his tough HZ Tonner ute down to get some laps in on the new combo! The boys recently road tripped the car to the Red Centre Nats for it’s maiden outing (since the new combo went in) and subsequently cleaned up and won the Pro Class in the Finals!

The car is a whole different animal now with the Twin Precision Turbo combination, it was a bit tricky getting the car to hook at the unprepped track on 275 pro radials but you can definitely see the potential the car now has for some very fast times once they can get it to stick off the hit.

We look forward to seeing the car out and about again this season, and we will make sure we jump in and get some incars for you guys also!

After a successful West Coast Nats return for my Blown Big Block Ute the Team at BYE Performance made a few improvements to the car over the last week and and fixed a few issues in preparation for Burnout Boss and mechanically the car feels stronger than ever.

I also made some adjustments to the 4-Link set-up in an effort to improve the handling, but a small change actually made a huge difference and changed the handling of the Ute dramatically.

With a small wall tap and a fire at the end of the Skid as a result of a build-up of rubber under the car I’ll be back real soon, we drove the car on the trailer at the end of the night which is a win in my books.
