Matt’s car is no stranger to our channel, if you’ve watched any of the previous track hire’s you’ve probably seen this one before.

After a few Transmission upgrades Matt was back to chase a number!

Unfortunately the track conditions proved a challenge for pretty much every car this day, Matt’s being no exception but he still got a few passes in. Since this track hire Matt has managed to get this car into the 8’s, that is ridiculous for a street car – I’ll just let that sink in for a minute!

The boys haven’t missed many private track hires and definitely give it 110% when this thing hits the black stuff, with the car sounding like it’s always set on kill we were bound to see some magic happen when everything fell into place – and we weren’t disappointed!

We’ve said it before, you really need to hear this car in action it’s an absolute monster… no matter where you are watching it from it sounds properly off it’s head!

Piloted by Josh Oosterwaal – this boosted beast is a 2002 Chevy Camaro pacing an LS Engine and Garrett GTX turbo. It runs an LSX Powertrain T400 with an in house built Sheet Metal 9 inch. Vitals are controlled by a Haltech ECU and the car is tuned by Con Oosterwaal and runs a 275 Radial.

The little yellow Datsun, very well known here as the “Pineapple” never fails to impress!

With Tim in the pilot seat rowing gears (yes it’s a manual) and not the least bit shy when it comes to launching the ute off the flame shooting two step straight up onto the back wheels, the car definitely grabs your attention!

The car is a regular competitor in the Motorplex Drag Racing Series, and if you’ve watched any of our Outlaw Radial Championship videos you would be very familiar with this car.

Anthony (Connor’s Dad) stole the keys on their wicked looking Nardo Grey HZ One Tonner for the day, to put the car through it’s paces since the latest upgrades!

The Tonner which regularly raced throughout the 2020/21 Outlaw Radial Season at the Perth Motorplex with the Blown LSA Combo stepped it up later in the year to a Twin Precision Turbo deal and really got the car boogeying – Check out the Dyno video on our channel to see it in action!

Definitely a much better result than the previous year’s Christmas Party for the HZ, which Connor sent a little too hard on the launch and send the back end of the car to the moon 😀 (Check out the Streetbuilt Christmas Party 2020 video on our Channel for that one!)
