This weekend sees the arrival of a new event on the Perth, Western Australia motoring calendar, the Joondalup Festival of Motoring (note to self .. MOTORING .. not MOTORSPORT). Here’s our unofficial, unofficially incomplete guide to the event!
The Pathways Events are designed to inspire girls and women aged 15 – 22 years old to pursue career pathways in the motorsport industry. These events are for those who are passionate about the sport, want to learn more about the various roles in the industry and how they can get their foot in the door.
Tecno Karts Victoria – Country Kart Spares had their biggest team of the season in 11 drivers across 6 classes taking on the final round of the Victorian Golden Power Series. The team head to a wet Gippsland Kart Club and had drivers across multiple classes looking to race at the front.
Fabcon Racing took a team of 4 drivers across 3 classes to their home round of the Victorian Golden Power Series
Bright Brothers Racing took on the Golden Power Series finale over the weekend at their home circuit of the Gippsland Kart Club. All 3 brothers were ready to do battle with Bodhi competing in KA3 Senior Medium, Harley in KA3 Senior Light and Zane in the TAG 125 Light class. All 3 brothers were prepared for a wet and wild weekend of racing!
Pro Karting headed to a wet Gippsland Kart Club for the final round of the 2022 Golden Power Series! Pro Karting had an 11-driver team across 7 classes in the final round of the championship and wanted to add more round wins to their 2022 championship!
This weekend, the now traditional Nyora Raceway double header Melbourne Cup weekend will see the terrific little entertainment venue in Nyora kick start the season for Speedway competitors and motorsport fans from right around Victoria and as is the case this weekend, for competitors from New South Wales and South Australia also
