Lexus continues to anticipate the needs of its customers by introducing two special Crafted Editions of its RX large luxury SUV, featuring a complimentary upgrade to the unrivalled Encore Platinum Owner Benefits program.
The extraordinary luxury mobility benefits of Encore Platinum complement a range of thoughtfully executed exterior and interior enhancements that distinguish these new variants from the rest of the in-demand RX range.
The five-seat RX Crafted Edition models build on the Luxury versions of the 175kW 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder RX 300 and the 221kW 3.5-litre V6 RX 350.
Designers have differentiated the new variants by adopting stylish dark treatments for the inner grille, bumper and mirror caps, as well as for the unique 20-inch sputtered alloy wheels with F Sport wheel caps.
The RX 350 Crafted Edition gains a sunroof, while the RX 300 Crafted Edition matches its sibling through the addition of heated and ventilated front seats, easy access driver’s seat with return, and driver memory seat.
The comprehensive feature list is further augmented with a head-up display and courtesy lamp. Plush leather-accented upholstery is finished in two-tone Black with White Ash while black open-pore walnut-look ornamentation is applied to the centre console, doors and steering wheel.
Ownership of an RX Crafted Edition unlocks a wealth of customer-care benefits with the three-year subscription to Lexus Encore Platinum.
Accessed via the Lexus App, Encore Platinum includes Lexus On Demand, where customers have the privilege of borrowing another Lexus up to four times, and for up to eight days at a time.
This gives customers access to a fleet of luxurious Lexus vehicles, offering them the ability to drive an LC coupe for a thrilling weekend getaway, or an LS flagship sedan for an important business trip, or an LX SUV to explore Australia’s vast backyard.
Customers can also choose to experience the first Lexus battery-electric vehicle, the UX 300e, or the brand’s first plug-in hybrid vehicle, the NX 450h+.
Lexus On Demand also enables Encore Platinum members flying interstate to use the convenient Lexus App to book their Lexus for collection at Qantas valet in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth airports, or on trips to Auckland and Queenstown in New Zealand. Vehicles can be booked for collection at select Lexus dealerships.
Encore Platinum members are eligible for complimentary valet parking at participating Westfield shopping centres nationwide or Chadstone shopping centre in Melbourne, which can be used up to eight times over the membership period.
These upgrades are in addition to the benefits of Lexus Encore, which offers an expansive array of luxurious event experiences for up to three years to everyone who purchases a new Lexus. These include golf days, dinners, track events and money-can’t-buy experiences with ambassadors – reflecting the Lexus position as a leading luxury lifestyle brand.
Like every RX, the Crafted Editions have an impressive array of standard features, including LED headlights, 10-way power-adjustable front seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel, 12.3-inch touchscreen display, wireless smartphone charger and a full suite of Lexus Safety Sense+ active safety technologies.
A palette of 10 exterior colours is available for the RX Crafted Edition, consisting of Sonic Chrome, Sonic Iridium, Glacial Ecru, Khaki Metal, Sonic Quartz, Titanium, Onyx, Graphite Black, Vermillion and Deep Blue.
