Buccini and Prince have been driving together throughout 2023 getting more familiar with each other hoping to take that extra step towards first in 2024.
With the 3rd driver seat opening up, they’ve called upon West Australian Sue Palermo to fill the seat and add to their chances of success at the mountain.
Palermo started out competing in the Speed Event Series and other non-racing events in Perth at CARCO.com.au Raceway and Collie Motorplex. It didn’t take long for her to get the racing bug and she joined the ranks of the Improved Production racing category achieving 3rd in class for 2023.
Palermo is also appearing alongside husband Lib at the Bathurst 12 hour running their own cars in the combined sedans division.
2024 Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour runs 29 – 31 March 2024 while the Repco Bathurst 12 Hour, Australia will run a month earlier on 16 – 18 February 2024.
