FIA Girls on Track Pathways Program Heading to Western Australia

The Pathways Events are designed to inspire girls and women aged 15 – 22 years old to pursue career pathways in the motorsport industry. These events are for those who are passionate about the sport, want to learn more about the various roles in the industry and how they can get their foot in the door.

After the first visit of the FIA Girls on Track program in 2021, the program returns with the extended “PATHWAYS” program in 2022.

The Pathways Events are designed to inspire girls and women aged 15 – 22 years old to pursue career pathways in the motorsport industry.

Heading up the Perth event will be Girls on Track Ambassadors Jess Dane and Nadine Armstrong. The duo will give the participants an insight into the motorsport world. Jess will touch on her roles within motorsport including her current role as co-owner of the Triple Eight race team while Nadine will share her experiences as a motoring journalist. A wealth of motorsport experience between the two who will also showcase the other endless opportunities in the motorsport industry like IT, HR, event management, marketing and so on.

Local Girls on Track Champions Danielle Kneafsey, Telea Plummer, Laura Byrnes and Tayla Dicker will also be in attendance to support delivering the event and showcasing their involvement in the motorsport industry.

The Girls on Track – Pathways events are a unique opportunity to hear from women and guests in the industry, connect and network with them.
