As the Supercars circus gets underway in Perth, various meet and greets started popping up with most taking place at reasonable hours, IRWIN Tools and Bunnings decided a 7.30am Breakfast was on the cards.
A small but keen crowd gathered just before Scott Pye and Mark Winterbottom arrived with cameras in tow. All various ages were there to meet the Supercars stars ahead of the return to Wanneroo Raceway.
The guys spent about an hour signing various posters and items people brought with them and just as we thought we’d seen it all with a part of a window getting signed, one fan pulled out one of Winterbottom’s damaged rims from a previous race to get signed.
The Supercars show moves on to various other events today with the main one being in the CBD of Perth City where all drivers will be appearing.
Tomorrow they hit the track for the first time with Practice 1 at 10:20am, the first time since 2019.
