Sieders Racing Team sealed up the top three for qualifying with David Sieders Mitsubishi Triton only needing two laps to set a time of 1:05.017 and Aaron Borg’s Holden Colorado putting in a 1:05.1458.

The multi manufacturer category which has progressed past the old school Holden vs Ford format that dominated V8 Supercars, which will end with the introduction of the Gen3 Series finally, gives a flash back to the 1990s multi manufacturer era of Supercars.

To be honest, we believe a field full of Holden Colorado’s and Ford Rangers would be boring with the breadth of other utes available to convert for racing.

The SuperUtes return to the track on Saturday for their first race at 1pm.
