For the first time in 23 years the annually held Krikke Boys’ Shootout will move from its home at Bunbury Speedway to Perth Motorplex due to ongoing works in Bunbury.

The event which was started in honour of Krikke cousins Jason and and Darryl whom were tragically killed in a road accident back in 1997 is usually held at Bunbury Speedway where the boys grew up working and racing with Darryl’s father, two time Australian champion, Ron.

The Shootout usually attracts one of the largest fields of the years and with the move to Motorplex this may increase on previous years.

Also racing on the night will be the BGC WA Late Models, Pool Shop Group WA Speedcars plus more divisions to be confirmed.

Keep an eye out on the Perth Motorplex’s website for more details as they are released.
