With the gates to the Perth Motorplex ready to be opened for entrants and crew only on Friday, the organisors have confirmed over 500 entrants will be in attendance for what is the biggest Motorvation in a while.
At 12pm the scruitineering and judging begins with pit cruising available to the entrants. From 5pm the bar opens and those not enjoying a beverage are welcome to do some 1/8th mile racing from 6pm with James Wilson jumping on the stage at the bar for some live music.
After the scruitineering finishes at 8, the venue will close to anyone who isn’t camping ready for the full on two days ahead.
From 9am on Saturday the gates open to the public. Trader Alley, Supercrusing and Show and Shine all kicks off from 9am with the Sound Off busting ears from 10am.
At 11am the Motorvation Unveil Show begins with some of Perth’s best builds over the last 12 months being unveiled. Given COVID-19, expect some fantastic rides to be on show here.
At 12pm it’s a party at the back, business at the front as mullet afficionados take to the stage to get judged as Perth’s Best Mullet.
On track there’s the Slalom + Go to Whoa, Smooth Crusing for the family (no smashing tyres here!) and as the sun goes down the smoke level rises as the Sportsman, Open + Pro class burnout competition gets underway.
If you’re still upright and not worn out from all of the Saturday action, 9am sees the pit cruising and sound off finals kick into gear which will surely wake you up, there’s smooth crusing and supercruises plus all the show n shine awards. At 1pm the Burnout Pro ball draw happens, grand champions are announced and then from 1.30pm til 5.30pm, all eyes are on the burnout pad for the finals.
