Cub Cadet manufactures premium ride-on mowers and zero turns and has grabbed naming rights on the BJR Commodore for the biggest race of the year.
Luke Theobald, Marketing Communications Manager for MTD Products Australia & New Zealand, manufacturers and distributors of Cub Cadet mowers sees plenty of parallels with Brad Jones Racing. “Cub Cadet mowers deliver the premium performance, precision maneuverability and sustained power required to get the job done, even when the weather takes a turn, the corners are sharp or the terrain is steep, just like at the Mountain”.
There will be some precision driving when Hazelwood and Boys are behind the wheel of this vibrant yellow and black livery, finished off with a pitch of grass along the number plate!
BJR’s #14 main driver Todd Hazelwood is excited to get to Mount Panorama, “The team has done a stellar job so far this season, always giving me a competitive car and we’ve all been working really hard behind the scenes,” said Hazelwood.
“It hasn’t all been smooth sailing for us with a little bit of inconsistency but that comes from trying new things and learning what does and doesn’t work at each track. However, when we’re on point the car is fast and we’ve proven this time after time.”
“I can’t wait to get to Bathurst and having a co-driver that’s probably done more laps than any other co-driver in the field this year is a great advantage for us. Jordan has shown huge potential and I know we’ll work really well together in the car. We just need to focus on our own race and complete our stints as smoothly as possible and hopefully we come away with a great result to finish the year off on a high!”
Cub Cadet is owned and distributed by MTD Products, based in Valley City, Ohio, and will celebrate its 60th year in 2021, many of those spent cutting lawns across Australia and New Zealand.
Innovation drives the design and function of every Cub Cadet product, resulting in premium US built, Australian tested, products that deliver optimum mowing performance. The new and highly anticipated Ultima Series zero turn range is no exception, increasing productivity through a combination of sustained power, detailed precision and complete control.
BJR also welcomes Joss to the team as they join the #14 Commodore as bonnet sponsors for the season finale.
