Kelly Racing team partner NED Whisky recently joined the fight against COVID-19 with their sanitiser initiative. The NED team converted a portion of their Melbourne-based dark spirit manufacturing facility to produce hand sanitiser to help the community when supply was hard to come by.
The NED Sanitiser has been a big help to the Kelly Racing business and has been tried and tested at the race team’s headquarters in Braeside. The 65% alcohol volume liquid sanitiser has also been useful in the hospitality and consumer markets.
With Supercars’ return to the race track this weekend, the health and safety of all Kelly Racing and Supercar staff is at the forefront of ours and the category’s attention. With this in mind, NED have come onboard as the official hand sanitiser supplier to Supercars for this weekend, supplying all attendees with NED Sanitiser to avoid the transmission of germs over the weekend.
NED Sanitiser is available to purchase now along with their full range of NED Whisky beverages at www.nedwhisky.com.au
André Heimgartner, #7 NED Racing
“NED are all about the Aussie spirit and they’ve really shown that over the last few months with the hand sanitiser. There was a time where it was getting really hard to come by so they stepped up and converted some of their whisky manufacturing to sanitiser which is great. We haven’t run out of sanitiser since!”
“I’ve been using it myself since they started making it and all the guys at the workshop have been using it too. Now it’s great that everyone in the Supercar paddock will be kitted out with the NED Sanitiser this weekend, it’s still extremely important that we’re all hygienic and sanitising regularly so this will be a big help to everyone in the category.”
Adem Karafili, Executive Chairman NED Whisky
“Supercars, the teams and everyone involved have done a tremendous job to get the season restarted.”
“We’re only too happy to supply our NED Sanitiser around the track to help keep everyone as safe as they can be at this time.”
“Now that it’s finally time to go racing again, we can’t to see André and the NED Racing Mustang hit the track on the weekend.”
